  1. The Climb

Kevin heard the concern in fathers voice calling encouragement to him.
He remembered when he was young standing at the bottom watching his father make this climb. He also remembered the fear he felt for him. Kevin made this climb several times before without father. He smiled as he heard a shouted “careful there son!”

  2. #30 Steep Climb to Freedom

The envelope contained an empty note.

    “Is that it?” said Lena.

    Mei smelled the paper.

    “Lighter.”

    Letters began to appear, Stephen.

    “No… He betrayed me…”

The next day, newspaper titles read “Heiress of Magenta Empire survives plot by mysterious brother”.

Iris had to climb a steep mountain but she was now free. Or wasn’t she?

  3. And November came to an end! One month of writing stories 55 words long. I have enjoyed sharing my writing path with Bonchance's amazing stories, Severina's and Camie's. It was fun reading what a few new faces wrote as well, Qt, theouseofmars, Mireille and Bayfire2323. Last but not least, thank you to our fearless leader Camie for choosing absolutely inspiring images that triggered so many fantastic ideas! This was one of the most difficult challenges I have ever faced in terms of writing projects; it's extremely complex to write something consistent in 55 words! And that is why it was a lot of fun!! :)
