#5 Stephen, the Bear
ReplyDeleteStephen was her safety net. His unconditional friendship helped her through the roughest moments of her childhood and teen years. When she got herself in trouble, he would be the one to straighten things up and save her, up until that day. It had snowed and the only solution was something they would deeply regret.

The Shot by Severina Halostar
ReplyDeleteThe skilled photographer approached the Mama bear cautiously.
He knew if he nailed this snapshot, it would be national geographic worthy. He would finally make the big league!
The massive black bear hovered over her cub, sensing the violation to her personal space.
The soft clicks of the shutter lens filled the crisp cool air.
TURNING POINT
ReplyDeleteShe ran as far as she could, holding the child tightly in her arms. Then, suddenly, there was nowhere else to go. She stopped, laid the child on the ground, close to her, turned around and faced her former partner. The man froze. All he could see now was a fierce bear and her cub.
