Global Revision by Mireille Jenvieve
ReplyDeleteSuddenly Anouk woke. There she stood, feet planted on a green, dry sea, the world – not as she had once known it – before her. Marveling at the scene in her eyes, blinking and trying to clear her vision and mind, it dawned on her that, as the hazy horizon began to clear, she was alone.
Mireille, well done! Loved the interpretation!
ReplyDelete#12 Own The World or Die
ReplyDeleteOne day you own the world. The next you die. Ling’s katana slashed the table. “Where is he?” he yelled. “Where did you bury him?” She looked at Stephen. “I’ll show you. Untie me.” It was time to get out of Little Japan. As she walked out, she felt someone slip something into her pocket.

Perilously Alone
ReplyDeleteYes Anouk was alone in the pages of a book,
Hoping no one would close it after just a quick look.
She searched quickly for a canyon, one that was grand
So that when the book closed, she could still take a stand.

Oooh! I like this!
ReplyDeleteYou are all wonderful!
PS...I have decided to continue my tale, and cannot wait to see what happens next!

Library
ReplyDeleteFor most of Kendra's young life, her whole world was the village and the road running through it. Then the strangers in the clean clothes came. They built the new building with the books and computers. Now she knows where the stranger’s homes are and so many other places in her
now huge new world.
bonchance, I like this - particularly, the idea of the road that runs through the village, the "strangers in the clean clothes" and what they brought to Kendra that so enlarged her world. A very hopeful vision!
ReplyDeleteI have never done this before, but I shall again, as you have all inspired me with your own creativity. Magnifique!
Mireille
Barbara, cool way to continue Mireille's character. A living character in a books viewpoint. Clever and poetic too! :)
